Renting: The Process
In order to adequately find you your ideal home, Rocodells simultaneously maintain a detailed database of both prospective tenants (you) and available properties (your potential new home).
After registering your details – you can register online, over the telephone or face-to-face – the lettings team will acknowledge your search criteria and, if a suitable property is on the market, they will immediately proceed to arrange a viewing for you at your earliest convenience.
If, after your viewing, you wish to submit an offer, the details of your offer will be confirmed, a holding deposit will be taken (£200) and your offer will be put forward to the property's landlord.
If your offer is accepted, you will be asked to provide various personal details (current residence, previous/ current employment, former landlords etc.) so that a reference/ credit check can be compiled.
Succeeding a satisfactory reference/credit check, the details of your new tenancy will be confirmed and the final formalities, including paying your deposit and signing your tenancy agreement, will be completed. Once all monies have been received and once all relevant parties have signed the contract, the keys to your new home will be handed over (with a complimentary key ring, of course!).
